In a world that often seems shrouded in darkness, we have received an incredible gift: Christ, our eternal light! As Psalms 27:1 declares, the Lord is our light, and this truth is wonderfully embodied in Jesus, who proclaimed, "I am the light of the world" (John 9:5).

Through His precious blood, we have received something far greater than mere illumination – we have received His eternal life. The psalmist beautifully captures this reality in Psalm 36:9, revealing that in His light, we see light. This union with Christ transforms how we perceive and interact with the world around us.

Remember, as 1 Corinthians 6:17 teaches, we are joined as one spirit with the Lord. This incredible truth means we have constant access to His wisdom and perspective. When darkness attempts to creep in through fear, doubt, or confusion, we can immediately turn to the Light dwelling within us.
